ALUULA composites, dacron and ripstop have been carefully selected to create a super light yet rugged 3-strut airframe with the flying weight being reduced yet again (weighing-in lighter than most single strut kites and on par with not strut kites).
The ultra-lightweight and deep foil profile in combination with a moderate arc provide sharp, responsive turns, maximum drift, and the low-end hover is sought out when freeride foiling, or drifting down the line.
With the Roam, there is no longer a need to compromise on stability and wind range in favour of no struts.

Coming in 20% lighter than our 2020 Dacron-Series kites, this incredible reduction in weight is the result of strategically placed ALUULA composite materials, perfectly blended with Dacron to create a new hybrid construction class that delivers a superior airframe response.
ALUULA has been inserted into key overlays and reinforcement panels while the struts receive a full ALUULA panel running from the leading edge to the strut tips. This ALUULA strip combined with an ALUULA gusset tightens up the airframe flex, providing faster turning and improved stability. In addition to this, an ALUULA shock strip runs from wingtip-to-wingtip connecting the leading edge and the canopy. With twice the tensile strength of the underlying Dacron, the shock strip provides increased stability and handling in all conditions.
The reduction in weight and increase in strength of this airframe makes the HL-Series of kites comparable in weight to one or no struts kites, while still maintaining the expansive wind range that comes with having a three-strut kite. DELIVERY
We dispatch all orders, unless otherwise stated within one working day of receiving payment confirmation. If you pay via credit card we receive payment confirmation automatically as soon as you've paid. If you pay via bank transfer or cash deposit you can send us proof of payment to speed up your delivery.
Courier deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. There are no deliveries on weekends or public holidays. If you live in a main city centre, your order will take up to 3 days. If you live in a remote area it could take up to 5 days. Please do not hesitate to contact our customer services team if you wish to get a more exact estimate.
Deliveries are not insured so please request a quote if insurance is required.
We reserve the right to add a delivery charge should the product you ordered be of a high volumetric size or weight. This will be confirmed before despatch
LOCAL DELIVERY (Western Cape)
Shipping to Cape Town will be free of charge for all orders above R1000. Any orders below the minimum required value for Cape Town will incur a delivery charge of R100 upon checkout
NATIONAL DELIVERY (South Africa)
Shipping within South Africa to major centres will be free of charge for orders over R2000. Any orders below the minimum required value for other major centres will incur a delivery charge of R200 upon checkout.
Major centres include Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, Kimberley, Pietermaritzburg, Port Elizabeth, East London and George.
Regional (+/- 100km from major centres) and Remote (greater than 200km for major centres) areas, out of the ordinary and volumetric based mass products may incur additional charges depending on the area – we will notify you of the applicable charges, should they apply to you.

Hey Ocean Trader, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product to us subject to the below terms. As we represent a diverse basket of Brands and products, the warranties and claim procedures may differ, but all will have the same goal… a happy Customer.
Ocean Trade Supplies will offer you a full refund or exchange.
In order to receive a refund or exchange, the item(s) must be unused, unridden or unworn and in the original packaging, all labels attached and in a resalable condition.

We will only issue refunds or exchanges on items that are returned to us within 7 days of receipt within the Republic of South Africa and 14 days of International receipt. Any items returned from a delivery address outside of the Republic of South Africa will incur the relevant taxes, import duties or shipping charges that apply.
